The treatment is quick and effective but length of time will depend on treatment areas. The treatment applicator is swept back and forth across the designated area in a quick motion allowing the low light energy pulse into the skin.
No, laser hair removal is gentle and comfortable to your skin. During treatment you may experience a gentle warming of the skin, however the cooling applicator is capable of 4c which ensures complete comfort even in the most sensitive areas.
The hair follicles are damaged by the heat but the hairs remain in the follicles. The dead hairs shed after 1 to 3 weeks. During this period the hairs will seem to grow as they are pushed out by the new epidermis.
All skin types can be treated with our laser! The SMARTDiode technology of low energy pulses is successful in treating both dark and fair skin types and for both male and females. Fair hair however contains less melanin so is harder to treat. Grey/white hair has no melanin so is not suitable for treatment.
We recommend a minimum of 6 treatments, with some hair types requiring more. The average for a successful program is 8 – 10 treatments. It is so important to complete all treatments for optimum results.
